berhampur pics |
I recently got an oppertunity to visit the only non capital corporation of orissa. My amazements knew no bounds when i saw the unorganized traffic, encroachments and kennels!!!.But clean beach, quite broad roads, big hospitals.
so we landed at berhampur (obviously by bus) at 5:30 am and tried to find by good friends uncle .with a little trouble we located both uncles house and amit hospital.Actually we were there to get some medical checkups for vedanta recruitment procedures.
After some refreshments in uncles house we were placed at MKCG hospital square.(Thanks a lot to uncle and his son.).Uncle helped us to get an insight about all medical procedures and whereabouts from a neighbouring doctor.
Finally after a small research on rates of test from some nearby clinics(i and rishav) decided to get everything done at NIDAN ISO tagged clinic.I quote ISO because we were presented with a fainting bill for that word only. And i really say u i saw standards were met by putting tv in patient waiting room and making a drama of systematic waste disposal (which was not really followed!!!).
Any way we bargained(in a hospital, like a sabzi mandi!!!) for Rs 2000 and with a lot of calculations and meetings with his boss .Attender said .OK. Then blood was sucked using a pichkari. And a photo (called X-ray) was taken from my back side.I dont know why doctors have odd procedures of making out things.X-ray photographer said me to burn my back towards camera.and put my hands on my waist (style yaar). And made my face towards a black wall.Real fools doctors read too much. They dont have this much humanity left to take a picture in front view.
Any way .. tests going on .They were trying to find what is the effect of food on my blood. So they took my blood once again after i took my tiffin.I dont know whether they got it more redder or what. But i dont thing microscope tells anything about colour intensity.(I could have helped in MATLAB,if they could have asked for!!).
In the mean time running test.I was struck with some stickers all around my heart.I think they were trying to measure sweating or perspiration velocity or might be trying/testing that i could be controlled by a computer. The last option seems helping for a steel company. Then cords were connected to my whole body(over those stickers). Then the test started.I was made to run on a roller. Its speed was controlled by computer and some time domain plots were plotted on the disply.I saw a bell curve too.(Might be they were trying to do something probability normal distributions.Trying to predict whether i could run or not.YES or NO.!!!?)Finally after running for half an hour i was completely exhausted. And the doctor said i have cleared the test with 94%marks.I said ... okay i am 94% controllable by a computer.Okay
Then we ran all over berhampur streets to get out dental and eye okay certificates. And were charged 50 for each. Two lines cost Rs 50.Bullish.
Phir kalabazaari.Actually we did a mistale by buying return tickets for 4pm.our reports were to come at7pm.so we decided to sell our tickets and fortunately suceeded with a loss of Rs20 on each ticket.
Lots of time at berhampur for enjoyment was in our hands.I called in my friend sanjay from NIST.And for a matter of surprise in a corporationgirls are too backward.I asked "Excuse me " to two girls on road and they ran away like anything. We enjoyed some time on road and then three of us went to GOPALPUR beach by bus.
Gopalpur was little bit crowded with tourists(local only). Not too much crowdy. We enjoyed a fanta, some snacks at beach and returned.met some really amorals on the way in return journey
bu bus.
Finally we took our reports(all positive), parted from sanjay.Ate some delicious cheap food at Hotel Nandan, bus stand.went to meet uncle and took some rest there.Boarded bus at night 12 and back.Return journey shook my soul.I mean it was too cold with automatically opening windows in the bus.
Finally it was a pleasant,Fast resulting .Enjoying journey.Have some pics.
